Mireille Asselin’s Quest for Music Mastery

Mireille Asselin is a Canadian, who spent most of her childhood years in Toronto, although she is recently based in the United States.

She is currently a second year candidate for a Master of Music degree at the prestigious Yale school of music and is studying with Doris Yarick-Cross.

In addition to her many commitments at Yale, Mireille Asselin will be making appearances with Opera Hamilton, the Orchestra of the Southern Finder Lakes this year. But for her 2011 season, she is to return to Canada to perform Servilia in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito with Opera Atelier.

Prior to her performance in Magic Flute Diaries she finished her B.M degree from The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. So since then, her music/acting career has taken considerably successful turns. As a result, she is one of Toronto’s most successful music students.
